Our Team

Nanea is the lead receptionist and front office manager at 808 Eye Care. She has been working in the optometric field since 2017 and is knowledgeable in the day to day operations of the practice.

Working hard, treating everyone with respect, and being kind are the values Nanea developed in her youth growing up in Kailua and playing competitive softball at Kalaheo High School and Hawaii Pacific University. Although she no longer competes competitively, her free time is spent supporting other family members at sporting events and just hanging out with friends.

Marlo is the lead technician at 808 Eye Care and has over 15 years in the eye care field. She helps the doctors with patient testing and is knowledgeable in glasses adjusting and contact lenses.

After graduating from Sacred Hearts Academy and UH Manoa, Marlo found working in the optometric field very enjoyable as she was able to see other families grow and expand over the years along with her own. Marlo puts her whole heart into her work and always makes the extra effort to make sure things are done right .

When not in the office, Marlo enjoys drawing, cooking, and spending time with her husband Lance and two boys, Kailer and Rylen.

Erika joined the 808 Eye Care team in 2021 and utilizes her 15 years of optical experience and knowledge to help patients select the perfect pair of glasses.  Figuring out which frames will best pair with each patient's prescription and specific needs is what Erika excels at and is something that she takes great pride in doing.  Erika loves getting to know each patient's "style" over time but is always excited to meet new patients and help them discover the art of selecting the right pair of glasses.

In her free time, Erika enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, traveling, and simply relaxing at home."

Mike is 808 Eye Cares first remote healthcare assistant that strives to showcase his hospitality and caring nature to everyone he meets.  He uses his strong background in retail pharmacy management and prescription medications to support the doctors, staff and patients at 808 Eye Care with many of the daily and ongoing tasks that tend to burden and bog down a medical office which allows for a more pleasant patient experience.

During his free time, Mike enjoys being outdoors, water activities, and seeking out adventure in traveling to new destinations.
